Palmyra Fibre & Palmyra Stalks

Palm fiber is 100% biodegradable natural fiber derived from Palmyra tree (Borassus flabellifera) sheaths through a simple but skilled process that ensures natural stiffness and durability to the product.

It is also called ‘Bassine” and is perfectly eco-friendly natural fiber used in manufacture of heavy duty brooms and brushes used for cleaning purposes. It has excellent sweeping and scrubbing properties. The fiber is long lasting and sufficiently ragged for usage as an efficient brush fiber material. It is water resistant, which makes it an ideal scrub brush material. Palmyra fiber is the one of filling material for brush manufacturers all over the world. The size of our material ranges anywhere from 7.5 cm to 48 cm.

Palmyra Stalk extracted from Palmyra leaf is mainly used for manufacturing brooms used widely for cleaning purpose. The size of our material ranges anywhere from 7.5 cm to 48 cm. Our product ranges are as follows:

Dyeing

We offer both dyed and undyed Palmyra fiber and stalks. The material can be dyed to any color of your choice. All the Fiber can be dyed and Extra Fine Natural Palmyra Stalks also.

Mixture

We offer fibre and stalks in a wide range of proportions. You can choose to have 50% Fibre ad 50% Stalks 25% of Fibre and 75% stalks, or any other proportion based on you needs.

Packing

We export Hand pressed 50 Kgs bales with iron hoops and without bamboo chips covered with hessian. We mark on hessian to sort out easily with colours of black green and red.
